Tree City USA – awards

About the Award

This award is given to the members of tree city USA to promote even more participation and growth in the program and an even higher level of understanding and knowledge about the importance of trees in the USA today.  Trees are one of the world’s natural carbon dioxide sinks, and without trees the world would very quickly become uninhabitable for all other forms of life.  It is very important that we recognize their importance and place in the ecosystem.
