Bring a Seminar or Workshop to Your Area

We would love to speak with you about the possibility of bringing one of our seminars or workshops to your city. There are a number of ways we could bring an event to your area.

Join Us as a Cooperator

We like to work with like-minded local organizations to get the word out about our events, and we have found that representatives of local organizations can be great assets to us in creating successful events by sharing their knowledge of potential event locations, previously scheduled community forestry events, and individuals that might be able to provide a local slant on an issue as a guest presenter.

Please contact us if you would like to bring a seminar to your locality. We would be glad to consider your city as we develop our schedule for the coming year. If your organization is our primary cooperator, we would ask that you assist us in locating a suitable meeting place — one that could accommodate at least 75 people classroom style and that provides audio-visual equipment and food service. Most importantly, we would ask for your assistance in promoting the workshop through your networks. We will handle all of the work and expenses of putting on the seminar. We will recognize your organization as a cooperator in the printed brochure and online, provide a link from our online brochure to your organization’s website, recognize your organization at the event, provide display space for your literature at the event, and provide your organization with one complimentary registration.

Consider a Contracted Workshop

We are often contacted by groups that are interested in contracting with us to hold a workshop in their area. Some organizations contract with us to provide private events where a workshop is held exclusively for your organization and/or its invitees. Other organizations use grant funding to contract with us to offer a reduced registration public seminar in their area. Please contact us with details about the event you have an interest in, and we will put together a proposal that matches your needs.

Contact Us With Other Training Needs

We specialize in creating new events to address emerging educational needs related to community forestry. If your organization, city, or state is contemplating the need for a workshop or seminar to address a community-forestry issue, but do not see an existing resource, chances are that there are others recognizing that same need. We would be glad to talk with you about developing a new program that would meet your needs that we could replicate in other locations.
